The meeting and banquet facilities were unveiled in January of this year. Upon entering the updated lobby at the Sheraton Old San Juan the impressive signature staircase cannot be missed. There is a coastal-inspired color palette, with blue accents reflective of the nearby ocean, which lends itself to a welcoming linger-a-little longer feel about it. The inviting space has all-new furnishings, most notably a communal table with easily accessible USB ports that make it conducive to networking and casual meetings. The coastal charm carries into the guest rooms and suites with a sky blue and sand-hued palette creating the perfect balance of color and neutrality. The rooms are the ultimate spot for rest and relaxation, while still accommodating the needs of those traveling for work. All of the hotel’s accommodations now feature the ultra-comfortable Sheraton Sleep Experience® beds. In response to an increasing number of leisure getaways, the hotel has added nearly two dozen more double-bedded accommodations; this room type represents nearly 50% of the property’s inventory with 100 now available. Another noteworthy addition to the rooms are mini refrigerators, a homelike touch that is ideal for guests to store beverages and late-night snacks to enjoy at their leisure.
